Electrical Engineer

Shermco is seeking an Electrical Engineer to work under a Professional Engineer in performing electrical engineering studies and providing unique engineering solutions.

• Provide engineering related design, analysis, and studies for projects.
• Perform power factor analysis, harmonic modeling, and grounding analysis.
• Conduct short-circuit, protective device coordination, and arc-flash studies.
• Interact with customers to gather critical information and review engineering plans.
• Design and troubleshoot protective relaying and controls.
• Work with the Field Services team on various projects.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Preference for educational focus in Power Systems studies.
• Preferably passed the FE Exam.
• Experience in protective relay projects, power quality studies, and power system modeling software is a plus.
• Utility design experience is a plus.
