Associate Electrical Engineer, Grid Mod

Seattle City Light is looking for an Associate Electrical Engineer to work on the Grid Modernization Program.

• Implement Grid Modernization plans for the utility's grid design and operation.
• Support evaluation and planning of resilient power distribution grid projects.
• Assist in project reporting for grid modernization programs.
• Explore new technologies for broad electrification and advanced grid planning.
• Collaborate across departments to develop and refine grid modernization strategic goals.
• Support various teams within the utility for effective implementation of grid modernization programs.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional electrical engineering experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education/experience.
• Knowledge of Operational Technologies for Grid Modernization.
• Experience with customer-side electrical equipment and load flow software.
• Experience in managing projects related to electric utility distribution engineering design.
