Manufacturing Engineer

Albany Engineered Composites is a leading manufacturer of advanced composite components for defense and commercial platforms, specializing in aerospace applications.

• Develop and improve aerospace composite manufacturing processes
• Define criteria for production readiness and qualify developed processes
• Ensure proper production documentation and review product conformity
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes
• Support engineering/technical project updates

• BS Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
• 1-4 years of experience in manufacturing process development and improvement
• Experience with aerospace composite manufacturing is ideal
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understanding of GD&T
• Proficiency in Microsoft software and CAD software
• Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with lean tools and manual metrology instruments
