Mechanical Engineer, Aviation (Starlink)

The role is for a Senior Mechanical Engineer at SpaceX working on the Starlink project, focusing on aviation engineering.

• Develop and drive Starlink integration design packages
• Own Starlink Aviation hardware from design through production
• Lead design reviews and certification processes
• Generate detailed production and integration drawings
• Perform environmental and performance testing on hardware
• Demonstrate extreme ownership of product outcomes

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering
• Experience with CAD and FEA software packages
• 3+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and analysis
• Proficient in 3D CAD (NX preferred)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work long hours and travel as necessary
