Staff Mechanical Engineer

The role is for a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Peloton, responsible for architecting and developing Peloton products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the translation of customer needs into fully vetted products.

• Lead Architecture/Design reviews
• Perform detailed design of components for fitness equipment
• Perform engineering analysis on designs
• Coordinate prototype builds
• Write test plans, review test setups, and analyze results
• Provide coaching and mentorship
• Use data to drive decision making on projects

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Product Design Engineering
• 8+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer
• Strong engineering fundamentals in statics, dynamics, stress analysis, and material science
• Experience with finite element analysis
• Proficiency in one 3D MCAD Package, Solidworks preferred
• Ability to assemble effective reports and presentations
• Familiarity with PLM and an ECN process
