Data Center Service Engineer (HVAC/Electrical)

The job is for an Onsite Data Center Service Engineer specializing in Corporate Data Center Spaces at Supermicro.

• Equipment installation, grounding, labeling, and removal/migration work.
• Cable installation, cable mining, and cable identifying, labeling and testing.
• Respond to and manage service request tickets through ServiceNow.
• Skilled experience with Packaged HVAC units.
• Skilled and knowledgeable in AC powered equipment.
• Skilled and knowledgeable in test, trace, and extend circuits.
• Experience with testing standards (copper and fiber).

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant data center experience required.
• 4+ years of experience working in data center environments, preferably in a hands-on technical support role.
• Familiarity with data center operations, best practices, and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
