Manufacturing Engineer (Bilingual Japanese)

Nintendo of America Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide technical and mechanical support for the manufacturing and packaging of their products.

• Provide technical support to ensure products are manufactured according to specifications
• Conduct production part performance evaluations and provide engineering solutions
• Design corrective actions to reduce defects with minimal cost
• Create engineering documents for packaging, assembly, and quality control
• Test and implement tools to support production operations
• Evaluate hardware accessories for compliance with Nintendo guidelines
• Coordinate joint projects with engineering teams to support production and supply chain projects

• 3+ years of related engineering experience
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and high-volume production environments
• Strong background in part/component and assembly design
• Fluent in verbal and written Japanese and English
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification preferred
• Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1 certification or equivalent
