Manufacturing Engineer

The position is for a full-time Senior Manufacturing Engineer supporting the USSF Space Systems Command Launch Acquisition Directorate in Kent, WA.

• Perform manufacturing engineering functions such as process assessments and design reviews.
• Conduct manufacturing/industrial engineering tasks including assessment of launch vehicle design and manufacturing methods.
• Prepare and conduct manufacturing process audits and technical data management.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders including USSF System Program Offices and Launch Vehicle Contractors.
• Prepare evaluations and reports of a technical nature.

• Active and transferrable DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience in design, test, manufacture, and operation of systems.
• Experience in interacting with various organizations and preparing technical reports.
• Competency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and IT systems.
• Knowledge of launch vehicle structures and mechanical systems preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with senior engineers and management.
