Manufacturing Engineer, Process Safety

The role is for a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Safety at SpaceX to ensure human safety parameters across various technologies and manufacturing processes.

• Establish safety tools and procedures for production process planning and optimization
• Perform risk assessments on industrial machinery and design safety systems
• Serve as the department's Laser Safety Officer
• Conduct PFMEAs for safe manufacturing processes
• Analyze equipment for safety and load factors
• Provide safety guidance on high-pressure systems and attend test readiness reviews

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field
• 1+ years in a manufacturing, quality, or design engineering role
• Proficiency in quality tools and CAD software
• Knowledge of safety management methods and systems
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
