Westinghouse is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their Global Instrumentation & Control business in Warrendale, Pennsylvania, focusing on producing electro-mechanical instrumentation systems for the commercial nuclear industry.

Responsibilities

  • Recommend and develop build sequences for Safety and Non-Safety Nuclear I&C systems
  • Work with hardware design teams to resolve design issues on the production floor
  • Analyze nonconformances and provide rework & repair instructions
  • Participate in weekly production meetings
  • Collaborate with various teams to drive solutions in safety
  • Assist in the development of production order operations
  • Prioritize inspections of procured and manufactured goods with Quality Control

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline preferred
  • Or 60 credits in an engineering or technical discipline, plus 1 - 2 years of experience in manufacturing process
  • Understanding of commercial nuclear industry or other regulated industry
  • Strong computer skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
