Senior Electrical Engineer

The job is for a Senior Electrical Engineer in the Gaming Devices + Artificial Intelligence Engineering team at Microsoft, focusing on High-Speed Signal design for Xbox consoles and future products.

• Demonstrate understanding of core engineering principles and analytical processes
• Own all aspects of High-Speed Input Output Interface architecture and design
• Support subsystems requiring High-Speed signaling knowledge including PCIe and USB
• Responsible for architecture, design, and characterization of High-Speed subsystems on Xbox devices

• 8+ years of technical engineering experience or Bachelor's/Master's degree with corresponding experience
• Knowledge of high-speed subsystems like HDMI, Display Port, or memory
• Experience designing, debugging, and testing high-speed electrical interfaces
• Experience designing, implementing, and shipping high-volume consumer electronic devices
• Understanding of electrical schematic design and integration
• Familiarity with schematic capture tools, PCB layout tools, and electrical lab equipment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
