Electrical Design Engineer

VERSA Products Co., Inc. is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to the research and development of new electro-mechanical projects, focusing on valve reliability for various industries.

• Lead projects testing and developing electrical components for valves
• Design products to meet industry and agency standards
• Prepare design studies, failure analyses, and test programs
• Assemble prototypes, conduct tests, and develop wiring assemblies
• Program control systems for electronically controlled equipment
• Evaluate field problems, recommend design enhancements, and troubleshoot production issues
• Manage projects, ensure schedules are maintained, and explore new methods for product development

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's degree a plus
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, designing electromagnetic devices
• Proficiency in CAD systems, engineering simulation software, and reading electrical drawings
• Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical principles
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn-by-doing in tackling challenging problems
