New Grad! Mechanical Engineer I

The role is for a New Grad Mechanical Engineer at Westinghouse, focusing on Reactor Vessel / Containment Vessel Design & Analysis.

• Perform engineering work in support of nuclear power plants
• Conduct software programming including Visual Studio
• Evaluate structural components using ASME Section III criteria
• Analyze Fracture Mechanics including Probabilistic Fracture Mechanics
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis using ANSYS preferred

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with ASME Section III and Section XI criteria preferred
• Familiarity with FEA and ANSYS/ABAQUS preferred
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred
