Electrical R&D Technician

The role is for an Electrical R&D Technician at Freeform, a company deploying software-defined, autonomous metal 3D printing factories globally.

• Build surface mount technology PCBs and wire harnesses
• Test and validate completed assemblies
• Assist with circuit board reworks
• Manage lab consumables and equipment maintenance
• Read and interpret schematics and suggest process improvements
• Perform maintenance and repairs on lab equipment
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on electromechanical assemblies

• 2+ years of PCB and/or wire harness assembly experience
• Proficiency in precision soldering and interpreting schematics/blueprints
• Experience with lab equipment and tools
• Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs unassisted
• Availability for overtime and high voltage electrical work
• Mechanical aptitude and basic mechanical modification skills
• Licensed for high voltage electrical work
