Manufacturing Engineer

Boston Metal is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with a background in metallurgy to ensure high standards of manufacturing processes and quality.

• Develop, evaluate, and implement manufacturing processes with vendors
• Monitor and audit onsite vendor visits
• Provide technical support to enhance capabilities and quality
• Collaborate with vendors to address quality issues
• Generate reports on manufacturing performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for project completion
• Enhance manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve quality

• Bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on metallurgy
• Experience in quality, SP&C, and process controls
• Strong project management skills and ability to work with internal and external teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time
• Ability to work in a small team environment and wear Personal Protection Equipment when necessary
