The role is for a Manufacturing Engineering position supporting electronic assemblies in Melbourne, FL, focusing on solving manufacturing problems and improving processes.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross-functional team efforts to improve test yields and production throughput.
  • Analyze test equipment performance and establish solutions for decreasing downtime.
  • Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for accurate staffing and test equipment needs.
  • Develop tools to enable manufacturing or increase production rates.
  • Support production build operators with tooling and processes.
  • Provide technical mentorship and support to floor test technicians.
  • Identify and address safety concerns and provide information to management on manufacturing elements.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in STEM field and 2 years of relevant experience or Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.
  • Basic statistics and Lean electronics knowledge.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Drive, teamwork, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Prior experience in functional area of interest.
  • Interest in returning to a full-time position after a career break.
