Hardware Engineer, PCBA Manufacturing (Starlink)

The role is for a Hardware Engineer in PCBA Manufacturing for Starlink at SpaceX.

• Manage PCBA processes and products for in-house production
• Drive volume production of PCBA including manufacturing execution and process control
• Lead new product introduction of PCBA assemblies
• Manage work instructions, process documentation, and training
• Monitor schedule, work-in-progress levels, and defect rates
• Identify trends for optimizing product output, quality, and cost
• Drive corrective actions and process improvements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 1+ years of professional experience in manufacturing processes or related areas
• Experience with SMT processing and/or PCBA processes
• Knowledge of statistical techniques, IPC manufacturing standards, SQL, Python, and Six Sigma
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team, with excellent communication skills
• Capability to lift heavy objects and work flexible hours
