Electrical Test and Reliability Engineer (Starlink)

The role is for an Electrical Test and Reliability Engineer at SpaceX, specifically focusing on the Starlink project, which aims to provide advanced broadband internet through a satellite constellation.

• Design and develop automated test solutions for avionics and payload hardware
• Write automation software in Python for testing purposes
• Support hardware through production, integration, and flight
• Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to deliver high-performance hardware
• Perform electrical bench testing and develop engineering models of failures
• Drive improvements in designs by analyzing data
• Find solutions to complex problems

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or a STEM discipline
• 1+ years of experience in hardware development or electronics test engineering
• Strong understanding of computers and programming languages
• Experience with circuit analysis, PCBAs, and test equipment
• Knowledge of electronics reliability, failure mechanisms, and environmental testing
• Ability to work in a highly cross-functional role
• Willingness to work extended hours or weekends when necessary
