The position is for a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer in the Design Engineering department of Kiewit Industrial & Water Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engineering cost, feasibility, and planning studies
- Administer contracts for instrumentation and control equipment
- Monitor and plan for required submittal dates
- Respond to questions and Requests for Interpretation (RFIs)
- Conduct routine technical assignments and develop small to mid-size projects
- Review OEM vendor packages for technical compliance
- Develop I&C design deliverables
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 8+ years of experience in I&C systems design
- Professional Engineer license preferred
- Familiarity with control system programming
- Intermediate and advanced programming experience
- Experience in field construction and industrial work
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
