Mechanical Engineer

The role is for a senior mechanical engineer at Emerson's Mansfield, MA location, working on pressure relief valves for nuclear power plants, US Navy submarines, and aircraft carriers.

• Review customer specifications and develop design proposals for valve applications.
• Produce models and manufacturing drawings using CAD.
• Provide technical support to internal departments.
• Troubleshoot and support shop floor activities.
• Prepare procedures and perform stress analysis for products.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years' experience as a mechanical or product engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with product data management software and ASME Codes and Standards.
