Additive Manufacturing Development Engineer

The role is for an Additive Manufacturing Development Engineer at Freeform, working on advanced printing technology for metal 3D printing factories.

• Implement solutions to automate the printing process for high volume production
• Oversee all stages of print production development
• Analyze data and part quality for continuous improvement
• Provide technical recommendations to stakeholders
• Document application requirements and objectives
• Communicate with customers to improve Design for Additive Manufacturing
• Contribute to internal technology development and improvements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar field
• 2+ years of experience with direct metal laser sintering
• Experience with print file preparation and DFAM
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
• Creative thinking and positive attitude
• Experience with CAD software and mechanical systems design
