Mechanical Engineer

Freeform is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on deploying software-defined, autonomous metal 3D printing factories globally, focusing on bringing scalability and innovation to physical production.

• Act as a responsible engineer in bringing hardware from concept to production
• Research, develop, design, and test complex mechanical components and systems
• Perform tolerance analysis and plan tests for equipment and systems
• Build, integrate, and validate designs and systems
• Strategize continuous improvement plans for system performance

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar field
• 1+ years of post-graduate experience in designing complex mechanical hardware
• CAD experience and knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals
• Ability to work collaboratively and solve challenging problems
• Familiarity with GD&T, drawing documentation, and first-principles problem-solving approach
