Electrical Engineer - Electronics Design

Mainspring Energy is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to work on the electrical hardware systems of their Linear Generator to achieve high efficiency and meet emissions requirements.

• Design low-voltage electrical systems for the Linear Generator
• Validate and qualify electrical hardware designs
• Troubleshoot hardware issues in various settings
• Collaborate with reliability engineers to enhance hardware reliability
• Interface with high voltage systems and teams
• Lead technical reviews for design approval
• Establish requirements for cable design and firmware support

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical hardware design
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience with PCBA schematic capture and/or PCB design
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
• Bonus points for full hardware development life cycle experience, startup environment exposure, Altium PCBA Design Tools, project management skills, and programming knowledge in C, C++, and/or Python.
