Electrical Design Engineer (Starshield)

The role is for an Electrical Design Engineer at SpaceX's Starshield program, focusing on supporting national security efforts by leveraging Starlink technology for government use.

• Ensure successful operation of bus and payloads on orbit via the avionics suite
• Electrical architecture and design, product requirements, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, and documentation
• Flight production, development prototyping, vendor selection, and manufacturing
• Circuit and full product bring-up, debugging, troubleshooting, and testing
• Deliver flight hardware on time and project management
• Integration, testing, on-orbit operations support, and data review
• Multidisciplinary coordination to deliver a fully functional product

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics
• 4+ years of professional experience in designing and delivering electrical hardware
• Strong experience in electronic product development, mixed-signal circuit boards, testing, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in programming languages, cross-functional roles, and fast-paced projects
• Ability to work in a demanding start-up atmosphere and passion for space industry advancements
