Responsibilities
- Design and analyze mechanical systems for launch pads, recovery, and production tooling
- Coordinate the build, testing, and activation of designed hardware
- Collaborate with launch operations teams to ensure product delivery meets expectations
- Utilize technical knowledge for structural sizing, mechanisms, and design decisions
- Present cost and schedule trade proposals to leadership
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
- 1+ years of experience using design software packages
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency in GD&T and project management
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
