Launch Engineer, Structures (Dragon Component Maintenance)

The role is for a Launch Engineer, Structures (Dragon Component Maintenance) at SpaceX, focusing on supporting the refurbishment and testing of composite flight hardware for human spaceflight.

• Own engineering deliverables for a new production facility
• Plan and execute capital equipment, machine, and floor layout
• Develop integrated planning documents for hardware configurations
• Refine inspection, repair/retrofit, assembly, and system test requirements
• Design tools for component processing and product reliability
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams
• Manage priorities and track project goals

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline
• 1+ years of industry experience with multi-disciplinary system assemblies
• Experience with composite structures and large mechanical assemblies
• Familiarity with composites manufacturing processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in high-stress environments
• Willingness to work with hazardous materials and pass background checks.
