Facilities Mechanical Engineer

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Phoenix, Arizona, focusing on optimizing cost efficiency, smart operations, and green manufacturing in semiconductor facilities.

• Designing and operating cleanrooms for ultra-clean fab production
• Managing chilled water systems and general exhaust units
• Collaborating on large-scale designs and projects
• Conducting system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Monitoring and managing utilities distribution
• Providing routine preventative maintenance
• Additional duties as needed, including ERT

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of heat transfer, thermal management, and fluid dynamics
• Willingness to work shift hours and emergency overtime
• Familiarity with vibration analysis and chemical analysis
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with mechanical systems in semiconductor manufacturing and knowledge of HVAC codes
