The Austin Company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and engineer Plumbing, Piping, HVAC, and Fire Protection systems for projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare working drawings and perform detailed calculations for projects.
- Select equipment and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Review and approve design drawings of other employees.
- Coordinate with field personnel and contractors to resolve construction problems.
- Inspect construction projects for compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ensure design work complies with building codes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- 3-5 years of related experience.
- Professional Registration required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering software.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- Capable of lifting up to 20 pounds and walking job sites.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
