Seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location.
Responsibilities
- Design tooling and fixtures for safe and efficient manufacturing
- Apply DFM, DFA, and DTC concepts to projects
- Provide shop and field support for projects
- Develop work instructions and manufacturing processes
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Lead project and technical team meetings
- Ensure work compliance with safety and environmental guidelines
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
- 15+ years of experience in mechanical or manufacturing engineering
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- US citizenship and ability to obtain DOD security clearance
- Experience in defense, nuclear, or heavy manufacturing is a plus
- Proficiency in 3D CAD packages and Microsoft Office
