Responsibilities
- Support instrument workflow testing and conduct statistical data analysis for performance and reliability.
- Investigate instrument issues through root-cause analysis and drive solutions.
- Design and implement custom hardware tests and experimental designs.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Optical, and Computational groups.
- Learn new technologies to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Identify and implement test process improvements for technical development.
Job Requirements
- Currently an undergraduate student entering the 4th year or a recent graduate in an engineering discipline.
- Strong background in hardware engineering principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a hands-on attitude for hardware testing.
- Nice to have: proficiency in SolidWorks and familiarity with statistical software.
