Responsibilities
- Engineer, document, procure, assemble, and deploy z-pinch fusion devices.
- Engineer, document, procure, assemble, and deploy diagnostics for device performance evaluation.
- Maintain and reconfigure devices based on R&D team needs.
- Ensure a safe work environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or related discipline.
- Solid fundamentals of solid mechanics.
- Working knowledge of materials (metals, ceramic, polymer).
- Proficiency with parametric CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (Ansys and/or COMSOL preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a multidisciplinary technical staff.
