Responsibilities
- Contribute to development of a high-fidelity spacecraft
- Interface with multiple engineering disciplines and project stakeholders
- Contribute to design reviews, process improvement, and tool development
- Execute a time-bound, well-defined project of high value to York
- Gain hands-on assembly and test experience
- Participate in an agile scrum team focused on delivering embedded software for space applications
- Communicate with the team about challenges, failures, and successes
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in a 4-year degree program in engineering
- Completion of at least Freshman year of the degree program
- Ability to commit to a 40-hour work week for the internship
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
- Self-starter with a hunger to learn
- Demonstrated interest in spacecraft and space systems
- Willingness to work in the Greenwood Village, CO office
