Responsibilities
- Own the electrical power subsystem for spacecraft missions, from system definition through assembly, test, and operations.
- Act as the go-to expert for electrical power system anomalies, driving root cause analysis and resolution.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, integration & test (I&T), and systems engineering teams.
- Develop and manage subsystem requirements, test plans, procedures, and documentation.
- Interface with supply chain and procurement for quality component delivery.
- Represent the EPS team in design reviews, customer meetings, and risk discussions.
- Proactively improve team processes, tools, and test methodologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
- Experience with electrical circuit or system design.
- Strong communication skills for technical issues resolution.
- Comfortable performing root cause investigations using lab test equipment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance.
- Understanding of space environment and spacecraft subsystems.
- Knowledge of spacecraft power system architectures and grounding best practices.
