Responsibilities
- Engage in testing and validation of multiple projects across various product categories.
- Generate well-designed tests for unique products not defined by industry standards.
- Trial and benchmark new test ideas for effectiveness and consistency.
- Serve as a product validation expert on project core teams.
- Leverage knowledge of mechanical design principles and troubleshooting techniques.
- Convert customer use cases into test protocols and requirements.
- Train and develop lab technicians and engineers on equipment and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, textiles, or similar.
- Greater than 2 years of design qualification experience.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards for product design and testing.
- Technical background in heat transfer, impact, vibration, and life/cycle testing.
- Experience in the design and build of test equipment.
- Proficiency with electronic and mechanical test equipment.
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
