Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical design and development of new products through all phases.
- Architect and implement electrical systems with sensors and embedded control systems.
- Create prototypes for early testing of new product concepts.
- Recommend electronic component selections for various product features.
- Conduct design reviews, DFMEAs, and risk assessments for product reliability.
- Interface with manufacturers and suppliers to resolve production issues.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation including schematics and test plans.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Greater than 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
- Proven experience in NPI environments from concept to mass production.
- Strong background in analog/digital circuit design and embedded systems.
- Experience with firmware development and collaboration with firmware teams.
- Proficiency with ECAD and simulation tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and product safety standards.
