Packaging Engineer

The role of a Packaging Engineer at YETI involves supporting the design and development of packaging solutions that enhance customer experience while ensuring sustainability and cost-effectiveness.

• Support the development of packaging solutions for new and existing products.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize packaging specifications and assembly instructions.

• Design and conduct packaging performance testing and trials.
• Drive packaging efficiencies with logistics, retail, and manufacturing partners.
• Maintain packaging inputs to a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
• Research packaging innovations and sustainable materials, sharing insights with stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a Packaging Engineering role.
• Familiarity with packaging testing methodologies and packaging software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
