Packaging Engineer

The Packaging Engineer at YETI is responsible for designing and developing premium packaging solutions for the company's products, ensuring performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness while maintaining the brand's aesthetic.

• Support the development of packaging solutions for new and existing products.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize packaging specifications and assembly instructions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to execute packaging solutions.
• Design, plan, and conduct packaging performance testing and trials.
• Drive packaging efficiencies in partnership with logistics and manufacturing partners.
• Support the roll-out and maintenance of packaging inputs to a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
• Research and stay updated on packaging innovations and sustainable materials.

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2-4 years’ experience in a Packaging Engineering role.
• Familiarity with packaging testing methodology and packaging software.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills.
• Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
