Responsibilities
- Perform failure analysis on explanted long-term biomedical implant products.
- Apply theoretical principles and analytical techniques to identify root cause failure mechanisms.
- Meet deadlines on multiple assignments while operating in a cross-functional team environment.
- Proactively find quality improvements related to Failure Analysis.
- Serve as a lead and mentor to less experienced personnel.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Surveillance.
- Define test equipment as required to accomplish quality responsibilities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Biomedical preferred).
- Engineering work experience preferred.
- Knowledge of global regulations for medical device reporting is a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams while managing multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
