Responsibilities
- Develop innovative, cost-effective, capable, and repeatable production processes with equipment designers and suppliers.
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert for customization equipment.
- Identify and solve issues related to manufacturing processes or equipment.
- Coordinate new product introductions with multidisciplinary teams.
- Assist Production Technicians in troubleshooting complex machine and process issues.
- Generate specifications, validation plans, and acceptance criteria for new equipment and processes.
- Collaborate with the quality team to perform root cause analysis for quality issues.
Job Requirements
- BS Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Greater than 5 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Design, or related field.
- Understanding of lean tools, principles, and methodology.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software (Solidworks preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex process and machine issues.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
