Responsibilities
- Lead a mechanical engineering team in the development of power converters from concept to volume production.
- Guide the team in the product development process, including thermal simulations and design verification tests.
- Drive technical strategy and operational readiness.
- Lead Research and Development activities for new technologies.
- Conduct root cause analysis on products and technical problems.
- Develop relationships with internal engineering organizations for integrated development.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure project schedules and resource allocation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 10-12 years of design experience, or a Master’s degree with 8-10 years of experience.
- 3-5 years of engineering management experience preferred.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks, Pro-E, Creo, and AutoCAD.
- Experience with electronic packaging and thermal management principles.
- Strong project management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
