Mechanical Engineering Lead

The Mechanical Engineering Lead at XP Power will oversee a mechanical engineering team focused on designing power converters, ensuring designs meet performance specifications and reliability targets from concept to production.

• Lead the mechanical engineering team in developing power converters.
• Guide the team through the product development process including simulations and design verification.
• Drive technical strategy and operational readiness.
• Manage R&D activities for new technologies.
• Conduct root cause analysis for technical problems.
• Maintain relationships with internal engineering organizations.
• Oversee project timelines and team performance through regular meetings.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 10-12 years of experience, or a Master's with 8-10 years.
• 3-5 years of engineering management experience preferred.
• Proficient in electronic packaging and thermal/dynamic simulation tools.
• Strong project management and supervisory skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with design software such as SolidWorks, Pro-E, Creo, and AutoCAD.
