Responsibilities
- Design spacecraft subsystems ensuring they meet technical and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with structural, thermal, and electrical engineers for seamless integration.
- Conduct structural, thermal, and environmental analysis to support design validation.
- Develop and present technical documentation for design reviews and test plans.
- Manage part designs using GD&T and oversee release packages for manufacturing.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards.
- Participate in testing flight hardware and troubleshooting anomalies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and basic drawing skills.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Resourceful with a proactive approach to achieving project goals.
- Relevant internship or industry experience (1+ years preferred).
