Responsibilities
- Design and document electrical systems for HVAC products, including control panels and power distribution.
- Create schematics, single-line diagrams, and BOMs using SolidWorks Electrical.
- Ensure compliance with NEC and UL 60335-2-40 standards.
- Integrate electrical and control systems with mechanical subsystems.
- Support prototype builds, verification testing, and field evaluations.
- Collaborate with controls, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers.
- Contribute to risk assessments and product safety reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3–6 years of experience in electrical design for HVAC or industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of NEC and UL/CSA standards; familiarity with UL 60335-2-40 preferred.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical for schematic design.
- Experience with motor control circuits and power distribution.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
