Responsibilities
- Design key components of the Battery Management System for Gen 6 aircraft.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, mechanical engineering, and system tests for a robust design.
- Support problem-solving in design, integration, and testing.
- Coordinate design, verification, and procurement processes.
- Participate in architectural decisions and design reviews.
- Define requirements specifications for the Battery Management System.
- Contribute to the interview process for new hires.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 8 years of experience (or M.S. with 6 years).
- Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry.
- Hands-on experience with complex, safety-critical systems.
- Knowledge of Battery Management Systems and high voltage systems.
- Familiarity with PCBA design tools, specifically Altium.
- Experience with microprocessors, microcontrollers, and FPGAs.
- Understanding of embedded systems and related software/firmware concepts.
