Responsibilities
- Define and execute design verification test plans for electronic and mechatronic flight hardware
- Collaborate with development teams to improve hardware reliability
- Analyze lab test data and field data to calculate failure rates
- Write or adapt computer scripts for testing and data analysis
- Perform root cause analysis and failure analysis
- Ensure adoption of technical recommendations through strong communication
- Work closely with external testing labs and engineering teams
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline (M.S. or PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in hardware reliability, design, or failure analysis
- Familiarity with reliability test standards and methods
- Extensive experience with reliability engineering principles
- Proficient in reliability test methodologies like HALT, HASS, and thermal cycling
- Experience with programming (preferably Python) for test scripts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
