Responsibilities
- Define and execute a comprehensive DFX strategy for hardware designs.
- Manage and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Embedded Engineering teams.
- Oversee Design for Reliability (DFR) and ensure effective implementation of reliability strategies.
- Drive innovation in hardware design and advocate for cost-reducing design changes.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and training on DFX best practices.
- Lead design reviews and promote continuous improvement in design and manufacturing processes.
- Implement lean and agile methodologies to streamline processes.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in hardware design and development.
- 7+ years in a leadership role managing cross-disciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Expertise in hardware design and product development processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills for cost-effective solutions.
- Experience in mentoring engineers and fostering a high-performance culture.
