Reactor Services Intern Summer 2026

The Reactor Services Intern will support Westinghouse's mission by engaging in tooling design, hands-on assembly, and testing as part of the Field Service Engineering team.

• Perform basic tooling design using 3D modeling software
• Conduct hands-on assembly and testing
• Visit local machine shops for fabrication follow-up activities
• Provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear power plants and products
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and other departments for information gathering
• Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements
• Report to the PWR Reactor Services Technology Manager

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical or nuclear engineering
• Basic exposure to machine design and modeling
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Completion of sophomore year of college
