Responsibilities
- Develop pump, valve, heat exchanger, HVAC, or other equipment sizing requirements for plant design or modifications.
- Identify problems and propose solutions to assigned projects and tasks.
- Support senior engineering personnel in various design and analysis efforts.
- Communicate the nature and status of work performed to the technical lead and management.
- Collaborate with construction, I&C, electrical, and operations project teams.
- Participate in customer, vendor, and regulator meetings to present technical materials.
- Perform work within established scope, budget, and schedule requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear preferred) with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Experience with MathCad, MATLAB, or VBA.
- Familiarity with testing and testing analysis.
- Familiarity with nuclear power plant designs for operating PWR and BWRs or advanced reactors.
- Experience with ASME or API standards is preferable.
- 1+ years of experience with design change control or requirements management is preferable.
- Engineer in Training Certification or Professional Engineer License is preferable.
