Responsibilities
- Understand and help define project specifications and performance requirements for equipment and systems.
- Define project requirements for modifications to existing control systems or installation of new control system hardware.
- Define project requirements for instrumentation, servos, and drives.
- Provide rough order of magnitude estimates for changes and new equipment.
- Update Process and Instrumentation Drawings, Electrical Elementaries, and Loop Sheets.
- Prepare technical documents to support equipment purchase, installation, and testing.
- Convey project information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with instrumentation and controls experience.
- Desire to pursue a career in control systems engineering.
- Preferred skills include Emerson Ovation and MATLAB.
