Engineer I

The role involves supporting the hardware design and delivery of Instrumentation & Control (I&C) cabinets and associated electro-mechanical hardware components. The engineer will ensure designs and documentation meet quality requirements and collaborate with manufacturing operations.

• Issue hardware design documentation such as cabinet layout drawings and schematics.
• Manage Bill of Materials and revision control of design packages.
• Compile technical and quality documentation for procurement, testing, and manufacturing.
• Generate design, equipment, and requirements specifications for I&C hardware.
• Work closely with manufacturing to resolve issues and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform engineering calculations to support design or analysis.
• Support development of test procedures and execution of functional tests.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis/design.
• Awareness of industry standard drawings including P&ID and schematics.
• Familiarity with field and control devices in the power industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of lab equipment use (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in CAD/CAE software is desired.
