Responsibilities
- Attend daily job briefings and adhere to site safety protocols
- Perform inspections and functional testing of railcar electrical systems
- Document test results and generate test record sheets
- Troubleshoot system failures and assist in root cause analysis
- Install and repair electrical components, including wire harnesses and terminations
- Provide feedback to engineering for continuous improvement
- Sign off on quality control documentation and testing records
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrician or electrical technician
- Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and wiring
- Experience with system testing and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Commitment to safety and hazard mitigation
- AAR Carman certification is a strong asset
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
